Who We Are
The Bahá'í Faith is an independent world religion whose 6 million members live in more than 100000 localities in 235 countries and territories, representing 2,100 indigenous tribes, races, and ethnic groups, and making it the world's most widespread religion after Christianity. The Bahá'í Faith teaches that divine Revelation is a continuous process and that the prophets of each age reveal truths that bring about the successive stages in humanity's spiritual evolution.The Benicia Bahá'í community is a small community here in Benicia but one of many tens of thousands of communities around the world. It follows that the teachings of the Bahá'í Faith address today's fundamental problems, among them the achievement of the Most Great Peace.
